Discipleship Groups
The purpose of discipleship is to walk with someone through the next step of their journey toward Christ-likeness. Raccoon Ridge Church has identified three major categories in which Christians can grow in Christ-likeness: Connection with God, Ministry (serving others), and Reproducing (making new disciples of Jesus).
It is not the goal for the discipleship journey to become a series of checklists. Rather, discipleship relationships should be fueled and guided by the life-changing, on-going experience of the gospel of Jesus in our life. We have several men’s discipleship groups and women’s discipleship groups aimed at helping one another grow in Christ-likeness. If you are interested in learning more about these groups, talk to one of the Pastoral Team members.
