Faith In Action
Whenever there is a fifth Sunday in a month, we close our church doors and go out into the community. On these Sunday’s, we serve our community by reaching out in tangible ways to meet the needs of those in Dallas Center and the surrounding area. In Matthew 25, Jesus equates service to “the least of these” with service to Him. We as a church believe that we should each be active as individuals serving those who are less fortunate than us.
We also believe that we need to be serving together as a body of believers. Past Faith In Action events have included free oil changes for single mothers or wives of deployed service men, serving at Spurgeon Manor, and assisting with the Dallas Center food
pantry. To get involved, simply mark your calendar on fifth Sundays and watch for details about upcoming Faith In Action events.
